Paranoia. The silent war.


The mind often looks like too much an statistical information processor that delivers calculations with great speed, makes assumptions and, despite this processes being, generally, based on illusion, they have a decisive influence on the feelings, procedure and decisions of people .

The paranoia is present chronically with varying intensity, thanks to these gifts of mental processing misused. This is because, more than anything, the defense mechanism is activated when the person do not love to herself.

While paranoia is considered mental illness when certain acuity develops, it is clear that it is a mass phenomenon, for the simple reason that self-love is absent.

One of the most common situations paranoia is caused by the jealousy of the couple, friends, family, etc.. The person who experiencing jealousy triggers a series of thoughts self-sustained and reinforced to create in the mind of the person a world very difficult to dissolve even with the most emphatic reality that shows miscalculation or expectation.

Often egocentric-narcissistic people have occupied his mind too long thinking about what others are thinking of them and so generate thoughts and against-thoughts.

Usually common paranoia is characterized by negative thoughts, mental scenes of fights, arguments, defense or attack strategies, etc..

This not only causes an unhealthy state mental level but also at the physical level. For example, some people experience reflux in the throat or tightness in the jaw, neck, face, until stiff joints, and all this because the mental world sends information to the physical, which seeks to respond to these situations occurred in mind.

Someone who has too mental chatter generates reflux in the throat, since the mechanisms of speech are activated but usually not used. Although some have a tendency to talk themselves unaware that this happens, the latter, may develop other physical ailments, such as muscle tension, because they send impulses to the joints from mental images of physical punishment or fight, indicating the movement but not holding it.

Thus the paranoia creates a powerful fictional world that keeps wars not always externalized for luck to the society but which are detrimental to the health of the repressor of emotions caused.

The advice, for those who have identified these moments of mind seizure, is to dispel the harmful thoughts with compelling reasons, such as, say out loud (even if it seems crazy) “I am at peace” or “I decided to be peace”, “I have no fear”, “ I am not a victim”, “I forgive you”, “I love myself” and all those phrases that give you peace of mind, by relaxing the tension caused with thoughts, because, they have become recurrent, seem autonomous and dominant of the will.

Silence Meditation is a great tool to not only discover the flow of thoughts but also to dissolve off. This can be done in a simple, comfortable sitting, focusing on the coming and going of the breath, not thinking. That "without thinking" will last a few seconds at the beginning, and with practice will be expanded mental silence moments bringing a great relief and renewal.

There is a sentence that prays:


"If you're at peace with yourself, at least there is a peaceful place in the world" .

We can make in ourselves a place of peace to the world.
