The dark side of ecology.

This science has been, like so many things, misrepresented, misused, used as an excuse to support actions by different agencies, or to disguise actions against the very planet.

It is known that the word ecology is reputable and it seems that everything that is done in her name is good, but we know that is not so right.

It is apparently a very useful gadget for people who want to promote themselves politically, self vainglory as defenders of nature and / or market pseudo-ecological products, environmental labeling their speeches.

We find famous philanthropists who are advocates of ecology, which may include, the environment, hunger in developing countries or animal protection, among others.

But, when we look behind their backs, the procedures carried out to swell the profits of their companies are somewhat appealable, because it may be that these companies exploit people in developing countries, use harmful materials, emanating toxic gases to the atmosphere or pollute water.

Under the guise of an apparent global warming literally imposed, from governments, energy saving lamps based on mercury. Thus managed, apart from selling their products to governments, which paid and charged with the people's money, a temperature much lower?, "Savings" in energy consumption at the cost of ruining the neurological system of the beings have one.

Dismissing those fake NGOs that are created with the sole purpose of securing funding in whatever way.

It is also a useful tool for those who intend to fight, prosecute, condemn others in the name of this science. "I am good and the anti-ecological are bad and you have to attack and condemn them".

And as is well known, ecology is a science that should not be linked to morality, is not an instrument of justice but of knowledge.

People can come from ignorant or negligent manner, whichever is applicable, shall be instructed ecology which must take action or other cognitive sciences, treated as negligent or malicious people that threaten the health of the environment somehow, are suffering from severe mental disorders because they are not able to associate the consequences of attacking themselves. These sciences can solve the problem that generates these mentally unbalanced people, justice however, far from solved, could reach condemning them with fines or jail, that nobody useless but could be left as the last resort, when nothing else works.

It's a good idea to include, as part of the basic education of children, content related to ecological practices and global awareness. The latter is necessary because it often happens that there are people so highly influenced by the beliefs in the political division lines drawn on the map, they even think that is allowed to poison other countries and areas of the planet, throwing the trash away geographically and so avoided the damage.

The environment will heal to the extent that people will pay more attention and be responsible with the power of discernment, daily acts and benevolent use of technology can be recovered. But it is necessary to think of the planet as a home, not poetically or metaphorically, but truly.

Ecology should not be a fad, enough with to be a tool of knowledge.

One thing is clear, efforts will be worthless in educating on ecology and environmental care if people do not begin with respect and take care of themselves, and this latter is not learned intellectually but that feels.
